Repairing earth project
“Repairing earth project” represents the contemporary relationship between human and the physical environment as an “unnaturally natural relationship” through a series of small scale simulations of earthy landscapes. Earth is a living organism and, like any other organism, it needs water in order to survive and evolve. Infusions keep the landscapes alive and in flux; water drips during those infusions, moistening the clay surfaces and keeping them constantly evolving , as they are being hydrated and dehydrated – a process similar to life itself.
“Repairing earth project” was presented in Dune Arts festival in The Hague (NL, 2018) and in Fokianou Artspace (Athens, 2019).
